Roche Patient Assistance Foundation
Roche is a pioneer in providing its drugs for free to patients who lack prescription coverage and the means to pay for the medications they need. In fact, the Roche Patient Assistance Program was one of the first in the industry, setting the standard for assisting patients in need since the early 1960's. In 2003, the Roche Patient Assistance Foundation provided free Roche products to indigent patients at a WAC (Wholesale Acquisition Cost or list price) value of $110,456,751. This includes products provided through generous programs to support Fuzeon, Pegasys, Xeloda, CellCept, Accutane and all of the products in the Roche portfolio.
Roche does not charge a co-payment and does not limit the time a patient may receive free drugs. We are committed to making sure every patient who needs our drug gets it, whether that patient is a senior citizen being treated for cancer, or a member of a working family facing an organ transplant.
A qualified patient may enroll
in the Roche Patient Assistance Program through his or her doctor and
Roche will ship the prescription directly to the doctor's office, usually
within 48 hours. To learn more about the Roche Patient Assistance Foundation
