Target Audience
Oncology Nurse Practitioners and Clinical Nurse Specialists who treat patients with cancer.

Statement of Need
Advanced Nurse Specialists who care for patients with cancer need the most current information on cancer care. This activity will help the practitioner in understanding the indications and dosing of myeloid growth factors in the treatment of their patients.

Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to improve their patient care by being able to:

  • Discuss the various growth factors and the dosing regimens associated with them to choose the best treatment plan for your patient
  • Recognize dosing and compliance considerations that should be evaluated when determining the proper course of treatment
  • Assess the role of Q3wk dosing in clinical practice
