Description
With the dynamic changes and developments in the field of contraception,
pharmacists are in a position to provide guidance to many women.
This involves helping them understand the risks and benefits of
both existing and new options in making decisions based on the
best contraceptive for their lifestyle, compliance abilities,
medical conditions, religious beliefs, and family situation. As
technology changes, pharmacists will likely be seen as health
care providers who can provide professional advice and timely
access to contraceptives.
