Terry Lumber, RN, CNS, MSN, CDE, BC-ADM

Terry Lumber, RN, CNS, MSN, CDE, BC-ADM is a certified diabetes nurse educator and clinical nurse specialist with board certification in advanced diabetes management. She has worked in diabetes for over the past twenty-three years. She is currently the Director of the Inova Diabetes Center – a service of the Inova Health System, a not for profit health system in Northern Virginia. The center is a multi-site outpatient hospital-based diabetes education program which has maintained ADA's Education Recognition since 1991. Terry was a member of the writing team for AADE's Step by Step Guide for Quality Improvement in Diabetes Education and was a co-author of the American Diabetes Association's The Diabetes Ready Reference for Health Professionals. She currently serves on AADE's Professional Practice Committee.
