Management of Hemophilia and Other Bleeding Disorders
This educational program provides pharmacists with a review of the pathophysiology of hemophilia and other bleeding disorders as well as an update on the newest treatment options available. Included in this program is a description of the deficiencies in the coagulation cascade that affect patients with hemophilia A or B, and a discussion of inhibitor development and how inhibitors are diagnosed. Additionally, information is provided on current treatment options for hemophilia as well as for other bleeding disorders.
