Dr. Rosenberg is the Section Chief for Hospital Medicine at North Shore University Hospital where he teaches and practices hospital medicine. Dr. Rosenberg has an MPH in Epidemiology from Columbia University. His current research interests include investigating novel approaches for improving VTE prevention in hospitalized patients; evaluating the effects of hospitalist leadership on the function of inpatient services; and the management of seizures and epilepsy on inpatient services. He is also interested in the role of mid-level providers in the care of hospitalized patients and has previously served as the Medical Director of a PA school (Pace - Lenox Hill PA Program). Dr. Rosenberg is the Secretary of his local Society of Hospital Medicine (SHM) Chapter, is a member of the Non-Physician Provider Committee for SHM, and is an abstract reviewer for both SHM and the American College of Physicians (ACP) scientific competitions.
